TAMA'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The late Benny Jorque (TAMA President 1983-1984) spearheaded the Scholarship Program for deserving students and book donations to the Alma Mater in 1984. Jerry Bulaclac (TAMA President 1985-1986) ensured that these projects be continued during his tenure. It soon became a tradition for the succeeding administrations to carry on this worthy cause save for the book drive which was replaced by the calculator give away to students as initiated by Cesar Suguitan (TAMA President 1999-2000) in 2002.

The goal of the TAMA Scholarship Program is to ultimately create a perpetual Scholarship Fund funded only from earnings (interests or dividends) of the fund. The capital for the Scholarship Fund comes from donations donated by generous individuals and from fund raising activities specifically intended for this cause.

The Scholarship Program is in the form of a direct financial assistance to deserving junior and senior students of the Alma Mater. The scholarship is open to all branches of engineering discipline and the selection process is subject to scrutiny and approval of the Scholarship Committee based on established selection criteria.
